Moon has been making wool fabric for over 175 years but today their designs are as contemporary and stylish as ever. All of the luxury woollen furnishing fabrics are created at the Moon fully vertical mill in Guiseley, West Yorkshire. You can find out more about Moon and the way they produce fabrics by clicking here. The name Moon is now synonymous with wool interior fabrics; no other brand specialises in wool and brings out its luxury and benefits in quite the same way.

New for 2015, Naturally Moon offers a wave of neutrality and warmth, bringing together traditional plaid patterns with mottled twills and modern geometrics. Smooth shades of Taupe, Ivory, and Hessian have been meticulously made from our mélange colour palette, bringing a unique look to both modern and classical interiors alike.

By contrast the Elemental Collection includes signature plaids integrated with on-trend ombre diamond and patchwork designs come together to create an interior that will catch the eye and bring accented elements of a room together. Combining vivid shades including petrol blue, jade, mulberry red and amethyst, our in-house design team have captured the naturally occurring scope of colours seen in the most coveted precious stones.

The Dales Collection is inspired by the natural beauty and colour of the Yorkshire Dales on the mill’s doorstep….but surprising similar to the Highlands landscape around Balmacara. Over two volumes, the fresh Spring and Autumn tones bring out the best in a contemporary spot-check, alongside complementary patchworks and windowpanes.

The ever-popular Heritage Collection is perfect to create that fresh Scottish countryside feel. This tweed-looking collection comprises dobby and jacquard woven traditional tartan, estate tweed and paisley designs, further complemented by a tastefully muted colour palette.

The pastel colour-palette of the Moorland Collection including cool glacier and denim blue, pretty lilac, pink and heather, as well as tranquil biscuit and natural shades, evoke a sense of spring meadows and a clean newness to any room setting.

Inspired by the simple warmth and comfort of the luxury Ski Lodge. The striking Chalet fabrics in clear distinct designs of checks, spots, stars and a retro snowflake design complement and enhance the sweeping curves and strong outlines of modern Scandinavian design.

The well-received Baronial Collection brings together a host of checks and over checks, a fabulous design in the style of William Morris, and baroque style jacquard designs to seduce those that had never even considered tartans.

The Natural Wool collection is created with the extensive use of un-dyed wools, reflecting today’s concern for our environmental impact on our world. Wool itself is one of the great natural fibres, a renewable and recyclable resource with natural beauty and timeless value.

The Antique collection includes gentle yet colourful plaids, house tartans, over checks, and a larger individual herringbone design. As the name suggests, although each colour story is distinct, the overall appearance of the collection is one of ‘Antique’ and an endless feeling of “aged with time”.
